The secretariat of AHBN

The secretariat of AHBN ‘Africa Health Budget Initiative’, is registered and incorporated in 2018 with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Federal Republic of Nigeria with a registration number; RC 119436.  It is located on 9 Berbera Street, Wuse Zone 6, Abuja, Nigeria.

Previously from inception of AHBN’ operations since 2014 until its secretariat was registered and incorporated in 2018, it was hosted by the Community Health and Research Initiative (CHR), a Nigerian not for profit organization with similar vision. AHBN had utilized CHR ‘s financial and administrative structures in the past to implement its advocacy and facilitating activities in Africa and at the global level.

The AHBN Secretariat is in full compliance with all the relevant Nigerian regulatory and financial policies, such as annual tax clearance by the Federal Inland Revenue Services, Annual reporting to Corporate Affairs Commission and has secured Special Control Unit against Money laundering Certificate of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.
