The Africa Health Budget Network (AHBN) with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria has announce a new partnership with Health Alert and Public Health Initiative ; civil society organizations based in Sierra Leone and Liberia respectively. The partnership will commence with a 3 day capacity building training in Abuja, Nigeria from 19th – 21st December 2018.

The Africa Health Budget Network (AHBN) with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria has announce a new partnership with Health Alert and Public Health Initiative ; civil society organizations based in Sierra Leone and Liberia respectively. The partnership will commence with a 3 day capacity building training in Abuja, Nigeria from 19th – 21st December 2018. The team from Sierra Leone and Liberia will be led by Victor Lansana Koroma and Joyce Kilikpo Jarwolo
The training will be co-facilitated by the AHBN Coordinator Aminu Magashi Garba and will achieve the following objectives;
- Enhance the capacity of the civil society leaders from Sierra Leone and Liberia on simple technique to analyze annual budget with focus to health
- Support the use the budget data and other relevant documents to develop Annual RMNCAH+N and GFF Performance Scorecard
- Develop a mentoring process by AHBN to support the 2 countries via face to face and virtual meetings in 2019
- Set up a West African Anglophone Civil Society Working Group for RMNCAH+N & GFF to promote peer learning and experience sharing.
